Says Mario Pirovano: “I had been living in England for ten years. One evening in 1983 I went to the theatre to see "Comic Mystery Play": I was thunderstruck. I went back every evening to see the show again and finally got to know Dario Fo and Franca Rame. I offered them my services as simultaneous translator and, at the end of the London performances, Franca asked me to collaborate with the Fo-Rame company in Italy. I accepted.” |
